Our Story

Maryellen Scandone, Founder: With over 25 years of experience as a sought-after Aesthetician, Maryellen is a true authority in the industry.  As a graduate of the Catherine Hinds Esthetics Institute, Maryellen began working out of her home which led her to own and operate a luxurious Med-Spa’s just outside of the Boston area. 

​Maryellen is a humble practitioner.  She has a loyal following that has remained with her throughout her impressive career.  Her knowledge of skincare, ingredients, and anatomy makes it easy to understand why her own skincare line was inevitable. In 2016, Maryellen introduced her own brand called "SV Medical" by  Sain Visage.

    Dee is known to her clients, she has been practicing esthetics at Sain Visage for over 20 years. A friendship with Maryellen began at a playground which led her to Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics and the rest is history! Dee specializes in acne and age management with a holistic approach that promotes self-love and healthy skin

  • Dr. Der Sarkissian, MD (Dr. "D")

    MEDICAL DIRECTOR

    Dr. Der Sarkissian is a Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who focuses exclusively on the face and neck. He is the former Chief of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Boston Medical Center and presently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Facial Plastic Surgery at Boston University School of Medicine. He is involved with teaching tenets of Facial Plastic Surgery to residents and fellows in training from Harvard University, Boston University, Tufts University and University of Massachusetts Schools of Medicine. He has been awarded Boston University’s coveted Teaching Award for Excellence in resident and medical student teaching.
